This beautiful lady is my Nana.

Over Thanksgiving break our family was hit with some hard news, my beautiful Nana was diagnosed with a terminal brain tumor. Soon after, she was able to have surgery and the surgeon was able to remove most of the tumor. My Nana stayed in the hospital while she recovered from this huge procedure. She is now living at my mothers home close by me and Ryan.

Even though all of this has happened, my Nana is still smiling! She has been smiling through it all! I am so thankful for the time we are able to share with her and the memories we have been able to make. She is a true joy to be around and I love every moment of our time together.

On Friday we will be traveling to Idaho to stay in her beautiful home for Christmas.

She is so excited to go back and we are so excited to share this special holiday with her! I know it will be a Christmas we wont ever forget.

I love my Nana so much and as hard as this news may be, I know that families can be together forever. That knowledge has helped comfort us many times.
