Conradi Krew: VALENTINES!

Well everyone, VALENTINES DAY is coming up! AHHHHHHH!

This is my all time FAVORITE holiday! Im being completely serious right now, it REALLY is! I have always loved it ever since I was little! I love the colors, the decorations, the candy, the valentines, and the lovely mood everyone is in! I feel like it's such a great holiday because you get to be super cheesy and be a complete love struck goofball! What can I say, Im CRAZY about Valentines :)

Another reason I love this holiday is because it was mine and Ryan's very first date (Valentines '09)

But first I need to back up and share the story that brought us to that special day (I'll write the quick version)!

Ryan's mother used to work with my mother and would always ask me if I wanted to write her son who was then on a mission. I thought I would look like a complete weirdo so I kept saying no. Well my mom would always ask me to reconsider and I just kept refusing. Well it was December of '08 and my Mom came home with a picture of Ryan and his address... let's just say I fell in love with a photograph!! I agreed to write him.. I was so nervous because I had no idea what to say! I sent a picture with my letter and lets just say... he fell in love with a photograph as well :)

I waited and waited for a letter and didn't recieve one for TWO months, a day before he got home! As soon as he got home he found me on good ol' facebook and asked for my number. On February 9th he asked if we could meet face to face! Of course I was just getting out of Math class and looking like a complete slob! But I agreed to let him come over so we could meet!

Oh my goodness he was adorable and I was completely head over heals for a boy I had just met! It's kind of crazy, but true! We then had our first date that following Saturday, Valentines day!!

We went bowling

Ordered a heart shaped pizza

and watched a movie

It was such a fun date :)

SOOOO, thats one of the main reasons why I love Valentines Day now!

And since we met on the 9th and our first date was the 14th we do a special countdown where we leave a little something for eachother everyday! It makes Valentines longer and so much more fun!

I LOVE MY HUSBAND & I am so thankful that I get to spend the best holiday with the best man!
