My entire life I have been terrified of guns! The look of them, the sound of them and just the fact that they are a killing device...all of that freaks me out! Ryan and his buddies decided that on Friday night they would go to the shooting range with their wives to shoot of a few rounds. Lets just say when Ryan told me this plan I kind of freaked out. But I allowed myself to step out of my comfort zone and do something that my husband really likes.
When I first stepped into the shop I noticed all the guns that lined the walls, counters, shelves and basically every part of that place! I could feel the knots in my stomach, and my hands were a little shaky..I was seriously soooo scared and uncomfotable!
As we headed downstairs to meet up with our friends I put on my brave face and my gear so I could seem cool and collected.
It was soon my turn to shoot.. I was told some instructions and then was handed the gun. Well I dont know how I did for my first shot since I seriously closed my eyes. But after I was able to get that first shot out of the way I was able to have a BLAST!

Ryan had a blast as well! He has been talking about it ever since.
I am so glad I have my husband who gets me out of my comfort zone and makes me experience things I would never think of. I sure do love this guy!

Isn't it a blast! I love going shooting with Eric! You should come with us sometime when we go out to Saratoga Springs and shoot pumpkins! SO fun!!
