Christmas in our town...

Was anything BUT white :(
I thought that since I lived in Utah I would ALWAYS have a white Christmas, but sadly that was not the case this year!
But even without the white and fluffy snow we still had a great Christmas!

Christmas eves eve:

Ryan and I decided to have our own Christmas since the next two days were jam packed with fun family stuff! We got in our Christmas pajamas and opened our gifts!
He recieved: A shaver he has been wanting, a controller charger, shirts, a hat, and some little things in his stocking.
She recieved: A new thicker curling iron, lots and lots of bare minerals make-up and new brushes, nail polish, and an ornament.
We never have done the whole present thing... and I think we will go back to not doing them.
It was fun being able to open the presents, but I feel like we were so caught up in buying stuff we lost sight of what really was important.
SO I think we will stick to filling eachothers stockings and exchanging ornaments!

Christmas eve:

We always spend this day and night with Ryan's side of the family. Since they are all German they stick with the German tradition of celebrating it all on Christmas eve! It's fun for the littles because they get to open presents before even Santa gets there!
I don't know what I was thinking, but I didn't take any pictures of this day! Which made me really sad when I started uploading my pictures!
BUT it was such a fun day/night with the Conradis! I say this all the time, but I really am so lucky to have married into such a wonderful family! I feel like they have been mine for always.

Christmas day:

We woke up and went to church! We still have the calling up at the Hospital so we were able to go up there. It really was so great being able to visit with patients on Christmas, especially those who didn't have family close by. It really was the best way to spend Christmas morning!
Then we headed out to my Mom's for Christmas Day! Our family usually does a service project, but since we all did so much for the giving tree we decided to relax this Christmas! It was so much fun to be able to sit around, cook, eat, play, and laugh together!

We love Christmas time for so many reasons! We get to celebrate our Savior's birth and we also get to spend so much time with our families! It's such a great Holiday!
We were missing our brother this Christmas. He is living with our Aunt, Uncle and Cousins in sunny California. This was our first Christmas away from him and it was not easy at all. I don't like being away from my family, so hopefully we never have to do that again!
We really loved his presents he sent to use though!

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!!!!
