Second year anniversary

Ohhh so close!
WE MADE IT!
Our amazing resort- Makaha resort & golf course.
There really is SO much to do there! Luckily we purchased a couple of Go Oahu cards so we were able to see absolutely everything that we wanted to! I am just going to go through everyday!
Day 1 Friday:
We arrived & settled into our hotel & then we were off! We just couldn't wait to see everything!
We found this little lagoon that we absolutely fell in love with & we ended up going there almost every night!

DAY 2 Saturday:
We had to visit my beautiful cousin Kahi in Laie. We woke up really early so we could head out & get started on our first full day in Hawaii.
Seriously, this place is beautiful from every point!
We ate breakfast at the Hukilau Cafe, it was so delicious!
& we had to see the gorgeous Laie temple!

We then headed out to check out the Turtle bay.
Then we were off the the Polynesian Cultural Center (this was one of my FAVORITE things!)
We were able to go to the luau they have over there & it was amazing!
They let all the honeymoon-ers & anniversary celebrat-ers dance :)
We ended the night with an amazing performance!

DAY 3 Sunday:
We had to experience the swap meet everyone was telling us about!
We all know I love shopping, so yes I was in heaven!
We had to make our way over to the north shore to try matsumotos shaved ice...
& yep, it was just as amazing as everyone said!
Oh & Macky's shrimp shack.. mmm so yummy!
Then we headed out to the beach, don't let the picture fool you. I didn't snorkle! I am TERRIFIED of the ocean!

DAY 4 Monday:
We went to a "secret island"- We had to take a cute little boat out to it.
This place was breath taking! It was so gorgeous!
Only my husband would find a toy dinosaur while snorkling!
That night we went to the paradise cove luau to celebrate our anniversary night! It was such a great luau, they had so many great things going on!
This was an amazing night! We were in the most beautiful place & I was with the love of my life.. We really were able to celebrate our two years of marriage!
DAY 5 Tuesday:
We decided to go out to Wakiki & spend the morning on the beach!
Then we headed out to go hiking up the diamond head volcano!
It was such a gorgeous view!
Back to Waiki we went so the hunny could try surfing for the first time!
I stayed back so I could enjoy my new favorite candy Hi-Chews!

We went back to the North shore to check out a few more things!
The Dole Plantation was so fun & interesting!
And of course we had to go through the world's largest maze!
Our last night we decided to eat dinner at our beautiful resort!
Ah I just can't get over how much I miss those sunsets!
DAY 6 Wednesday:
Our flight didn't leave until the evening so we decided to spend the day at Pearl Harbor. This was such an amazingly beautiful experience & I am so glad we didn't pass it up!
We were so sad to leave this beautiful place!
I took over 700 pictures, but I couldn't post them all! That would just go for days! It's crazy how we both will randomly just miss this place & want to jump on a plane and go! This place is so amazing I can't even stand it!
Oh we sure do love you HAWAII & we can't wait to see you again!
Two years down & forever to go.. I am so thankful to have the most amazing husband in the entire world to spend my forever with!
