Southern Utah Christmas

It was our first Christmas in Southern Utah.
We didn't have a white one, but it was still just as magical.
My family came down from up North to celebrate with us in our new home. We spent Christmas eve and Christmas day exploring the red rocks at Snow Canyon. We played many games, ate lots of yummy food and just enjoyed being together. We even went to Tuacahn theatre and saw their live nativity. It was very beautiful. The holidays down south are beautiful, but I did miss the downtown Christmas lights on Temple Square.

Conradi and I have never really done presents on Christmas because when we first got married we were poor college students. This year things are different, but we decided we wanted to keep with our "no present" tradition and continue with just our love letters. We write a love letter to each other and hide it in the tree so that in the morning we have to search and find it. Conradi is much better at hiding than I am. This is something we want to continue forever. It helps us to remember the important things on Christmas. I think we will keep this tradition forever.

We had a very Merry Christmas, and I hope all of you did as well!
