One great thing about going to school in Southern Utah is that they expect you to do a lot of
"outdoors-y stuff" And the great thing about not being the one in school is that I don't have to do the homework, but I get to tag along on these adventures!
It's finals week for my handsome honey.
And one of his finals was to go on a hike and take note on the beauty and surroundings. What an awesome final!!!!
So we decided to make it a family day!
We got on our hiking clothes, applied our sunscreen, filled our water bottles, packed up the pups and headed out! We decided to go to a place called Cascade Falls which is right outside of Cedar City, UT.
It's one of the many few that allow dogs and it's only 1 mile... roundtrip!!!! What a great and short hike it was!!
After we left Cascade Falls we decided to just drive and we ended up in a small place called the Ice Cave!
Okay fine, i'll admit it. I didn't climb into the cave. It freaked me out too much!! But Ryan sure did and he said it was freezing and full of ice. It was crazy and so cool!!
Next up we drove out to Duck Creek Village which is absolutely adorable! It's a small town nestled in the forest. We stopped and had lunch where we met a lot of friendly locals. It's seriously so cute and seems like such a great getaway!
Then we let the dogs run around and swim at their favorite place, Navajo Lake.
We couldn't be happier with living in Southern Utah! We haven't moved into our home in St. George yet, but we will be soon (13 days)!! We love all of the things we can do outside! And Elsie Lou loves it even more!!!
XO

So fun! Love the pics! And the girls in their fashionable life vests! Haha. Puppy safety first!
