It was this pretty lady's birthday on the 30th of July and as you can see she is one loved Mama.
We started the weekend off by surprising her with a visit from my little sister Shelby, her husband Jordan and their dog Nettie (which is Elsie's sister).
She was so surprised and happy to see them! We sure do love to plan surprises in this family.
All Mom wanted to do for her birthday was go on a family hike. So that's what we set out to do, but we didn't plan on the 50 degree weather and pouring rain! So the hike turned into a 10 yard walk and then a sprint back to the car. Luckily we were able to capture some nice pictures!!
After the "hike" we explored the small town of Parowan, Utah. We stopped at this Cafe to grab our hot cocoa to help warm us up!
On the day of her Birthday, Ryan and I took her to Zion's National Park where we enjoyed a yummy dinner at MeMe's Cafe. Zion's National Park is never complete without our favorite place, Zion Hawaiian!
We had a great birthday weekend with this pretty lady!

You went to Parowan?? Love that little town. We have childhood friends that moved there a while back and we love to go visit them. Looks pike you had a great birthday weekend with your Mom!
