Karsten tried oatmeal cereal for the very first time! I did my research and made it at home which always makes me feel better!
He learned two things from eating:
Mom & Dad can't spoon feed me as quickly as the bottle can and it doesn't go down as smoothly and easily as my Mommy's milk does.
He cried for most of it because he hated having to pause for the next spoonful. We tried as hard as we could to scoop it up quickly, but it just wasn't meeting Karsten's requirements. He either didn't like the taste or the texture because his little tongue kept shoving it out. I don't blame him though, it was very bland.
We will keep at it and soon we will try his green veggies. It is such a huge milestone and one I'm still not too sure about. My newborn is no longer a newborn, he's growing into a big baby boy and I feel so privileged to witness it all.
I love my sweet oatmeal cereal hater.
