Six month check-up

Karsten had his six month check-up today!
He loves going to the doctors. We think it's because he hasn't been to many places in his short little life and it's basically been like a second home to him. He feels happy and comfortable there.
That is, until the shots come out. Then he hates in and wants to leave and never come back.

He officially weighs 13 lbs.and 6 oz and is 26 inches long. He is in the 1 percentile for weight and 0 percentile for length. Those numbers may look really small and sad to some of you, but for us they are awesome! He is no longer on the premature chart and that is great news.

His doctor also told us that he was developmentally at a four month old level. This means that there is now only a two month gap! Karsten was born three months early so they projected that he would be 3 months behind his typical aged peers, but he's not. He's shrinking that gap everyday!

Awesome job little Buddy! We are so proud of you! Keep growing strong and healthy!!

The ride home was a little sad because he was still pretty upset about the shots. I got the feeling that he thought I had given them to him, so this is how he looked for the whole drive home.

  1. Hi! I don't know if you remember me, but I know Kaitlyn and your mom from eons ago. I love following your cute blog to see how your baby is doing. He is a doll. I love that you are also a fellow cloth diapering mom! Props to you. And thanks for sharing about your cute little family!
