Karsten goes to church

On April 19th we took Karsten to church for the very first time. It was definitely an adventure to say the least...

We arrived to church (as the opening hymn was ending) and as we were settling in Conradi couldn't figure out where to put the carseat. It's such an awkward thing and it doesn't really fit on the bench or under the bench so he set it in the aisle because, well, that's what he saw the family in front of us do. As soon as the sacrament song ended Karsten decided he was hungry (again) and as Ryan stood to let us out he tripped over the carseat and it went tumbling. All this happened in silence as they were preparing to say the sacrament prayer. I quickly rushed out and headed to the Mother's room. The only problem was that I really had no idea where the Mother's room was so I had to walk around for five minutes with my crying son. I finally found it and stayed in their for the remainder of sacrament meeting. The last two meetings were luckily a breeze while Karsten slept! 

It was an adventure and I am so grateful to be experiencing each one with my two boys! 

I love experiencing our "first time parent" moments with that love of mine.
