Karsten's blessing day!

After waiting seven months for the opportunity and the okay from Karsten's doctors, he was finally able to participate in his big day! 

On Sunday April 26, 2015 Karsten James Scott received a name and a blessing from his Father. He was surrounded by his Opa, Uncles, cousins and friends. 

There was so much love in that circle and the spirit was so strong. His Daddy held back his tears as he gave the most beautiful and perfect blessing. He spoke about Karsten's strength, determination and future. He shared the importance of staying on the straight and narrow and repeatedly let Karsten know of his family's love and his Heavenly Father's love for him. 

He is loved. So, so, so loved.

We enjoyed a luncheon with those who attended after the blessing at our local park. It was a beautiful and perfect day. Karsten loved being snuggled by so many friends and family members who were filled with such excitement to finally meet him. He sat and looked at each one memorizing their faces. His small world was expanding and he was loving every minute of it.

Thank you to all those who were able to come and to those who were unable but still sent their love. We are so blessed by each and every one of you! Thank you for your support and love.
