Happy Easter from the Conradi Crew! We loved that Easter fell on the same weekend as General Conference. It made it so much more special for us to celebrate our Savior with our sweet Karsten. Easter has always been a favorite Holiday of mine because we can reflect on our Savior and the sacrifice he made for us, but to celebrate the resurrection of him. The atonement is one I am much more grateful for now that I am a Mother. I am grateful for the plan and for the sacrifice our Savior made for us so that we may live with our families again and forever.
It truly is wonderful.
This year during conference they spoke a lot about family and children. They talked about our role as parents and the importance of a strong family. It was so perfect for us to be able to listen to our leaders talk to us about the importance of what we are doing. Family really is everything. Being a parent is such an important role. Being partners in parenting is crucial. I am lucky to have been blessed with a wonderful priesthood holder as my husband. He is there to take care of us and give us blessings and strength when we need it. He is a wonderful Daddy to our Boy. I loved watching them dance together as Daddy listen to the priesthood session. He kept talked to Karsten about what it would be like when they would go to the session together.
I love this sweet little family of mine and I couldn't have wanted anything else in my easter basket!
