Graduation Day

May 2013

Lyndsey Conradi
M. Ed
It's true. I am done with graduate school and officially have my Masters Degree! It was the longest 7  months of my life, but I am so happy I could finish as quickly as I did. My undergraduate graduation was a wonderful one, but it wasn't as big of a relief because I knew I would be back the following semester. This time around I was done. Finished. Never going back.
It was bittersweet to say the least. I love the University of Utah. They truly have the best Special Education Department and I love each and every one of the professors there. I am so thankful for them and for that school.

This graduation was also very special to me because I got to walk with my hero, my role model, my Mama.
Dr. Kim Mendenhall
Ph. D
My Mother finished up her Doctorate degree as I finished my Masters Degree so we were able to graduate in the same place at the same time. It was something I would have never dreamed of because it was that great. She is everything I want to become. She is such a courageous and wonderful woman who is loved and admired by so many. I wouldn't have wanted to share this day with anyone else but my Mama.
After Graduation my family had put together a surprise. A BBQ for all of our family and friends to come and celebrate with us. It was wonderful.

It feels good to be done with school, but I already miss it.
Here's to the next adventure.
