My first day of school was great. I woke up about 10 times in the middle of the night because I was nervous and excited all at the same time. It was like the feeling you have when you're little about the first day of school, only multiplied.
I was nervous to meet my new students and all of the new staff.
I didn't know what to expect.
But I was surprised how much I loved it after just the first day. It was great!
I teach a lot of social skills classes so my classroom theme is SuperHeroes. The students really love it!
I made these paraprofessional kits for my assistants. They were just silly little survival kits, but I had to start the year off in a fun way!
I still love my job and everyone that I work with.
