One of the reasons I wanted to become a teacher was because I love the schedule. I love the idea of having breaks and summers off with my family. It really is such a great schedule for a Mom! We enjoyed spring break last week and I can't even begin to explain how excited I was to get a whole week of nothing but this boy and his Daddy. I am completely obsessed with my little family and I loved spending every day with them. Conradi works on the weekends so we really got to spend some quality time together as a family this last week!
We completed many unfinished house projects and played in the sun with Karsten and the pups. We put hardware on our cabinets in the kitchen, painted the T.V. room, trimmed the bushes, planted flowers, bought a new couch for the family room, and deep cleaned the house.
We went on walks every day, carried Karsten around in his Solly at all times, watched movies together late at night, had a picnic in our front yard, spent an afternoon at the doctors office to increase Karsten's medicine, stayed in our pajamas, took naps and enjoyed time together as a family.
I think it's safe to say that Karsten enjoyed his very first spring break! Now the final countdown begins to summer. I'll be dreaming of summer off with this sweet boy for many weeks to come!
