Karsten's hemangiomas are currently no longer shrinking. His doctors said that since he has been gaining weight like a champ they needed to increase his medication dose. Last Wednesday we went in so that they could do that and stayed for a few hours so they could monitor his blood pressure and heart rate.
We had some good quality family time in the doctors office while we sat and waited, and waited, and waited. He handled it with no problems at all and we were able to get home for bed time. We were happy that we didn't need to stay over night for that one!
They will be increasing his medication one more time tomorrow afternoon, so we will be back for more bonding time!
