Happy Halloween from this little ghost! Karsten celebrated his very first Halloween this year!
I knew that I wanted him to dress in a costume, but I couldn't think of what we could do. I found myself searching store after store for a preemie costume. I then looked online and found some cute and tiny costumes, but they were very expensive. I even found myself looking in the doll section at three different stores looking for something that I could use as a costume, but I didn't have any luck.
The day before Halloween we found some preemie onsies at walmart. Karsten is not big enough for the regular preemie clothes yet. He needs the special preemie (up to 5lb) clothes. They are so tiny and cute.
Our friend made the adorable ghost hat and someone donated the black booties. We added the "BOO" to the front of the onsie and a "YA!" to the back (Dad wanted that part).
It wasn't the big and elaborate costume I had hoped for, but it was perfect and adorable! I can't wait until Halloween with this little guy next year. Ryan and I have already come up with our costumes and plans for next year. I hope you're ready for it, Karsten!
